Roles:

Applicants should have attained ideally 6+ years of practical design experience in track engineering for Senior Designer role and 4+ years for Design Engineer role. Should be a degree level qualified as a minimum OR to be able to demonstrate sufficient equivalent knowledge for Senior Designer role and Diploma or equivalent academic level as a minimum for a Design Engineer role.

Job functions/responsibilities:

• Proficient in Bentley Rail Track or PowerRail and basic user of OpenRail.
• General knowledge of CAD software such as Microstation and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in the design of switches and crossing is expected
• Sound knowledge of track interfaces with other systems such signalling, traction power, civils etc. and the ability to communicate and integrate with the relevant designers to find holistic railway system solutions.
• Previous experience as a Track designs checker and approval status would be advantageous.
• Experience in track design of light rail systems nationally or internationally would also be advantageous.
• Independent working capabilities.
